You a Passionate Creator,
Helping to Birth the Emerging Planetary Culture?
Elite Books is the publisher of several influential collections of powerful ideas from some of the most advanced thinkers of our generation. Elite anthologies published from 2004 to 2010 include Healing the Heart of the World (Best Inspirational Book 2006), Audacious Aging, (Best Aging Book 2009), Einstein's Business (Best Business Book 2007), and Goddess Shift: Women Leading for a Change (2010).
In addition to tapping the wisdom of New York Times best-selling authors, and internationally famous authorities, the editors of the Elite Books series believe that much of the most intriguing work is being done by lesser-known pioneers who have yet to be widely published. For this reason, they select twelve New Voices for each anthology. New Voices need have no publishing history, but they must have an intriguing and noteworthy story, the ability to tell it well, and a community through which they can support the distribution of the finished anthology. Does this sound like you? If so, we would be excited to see your ideas!
Elite Books is publishing two new anthologies in 2010 and 2011. The first, Optimism: Cultivating the Magic Quality that can Extend Your Lifespan, Boost Your Energy, and Make You Happy Now (late 2010), showcases the talents of businesspeople, coaches, therapists, healers, performers, scientists, and change agents who present their experience and wisdom about the values and practices through which they have cultivated optimism in their lives. The second is Consciousness and Healing, (2011) about the impact of changes in consciousness on cellular and biological function.
Among the best-selling authors contributing to these projects are Toni Morrison (Beloved, Nobel Prize in Literature), Judy Chicago (artist, The Dinner Party), Lynne McTaggart (The Intention Experiment), Christiane Northrup (Mother-Daughter Wisdom), Caroline Myss (Invisible Acts of Power), Dean Ornish (Love and Survival), Neale Donald Walsch (Conversations With God), Thich Nhat Hanh (No Death,
No Fear), Helen Gurley Brown (Cosmopolitan founder) and others.
What qualifies an unpublished author to stand in the company of these authorities? Prior writing experience is useful, but not a prerequisite as the Editors work closely with each New Voice selected to produce a truly excellent chapter. Some of the New Voices have already written books, but most have not. Original ideas, a fresh style, and a direct, personable manner are advantages. Some of the criteria the Editors consider for selection into the New Voices Program are:
competent writing style
High-impact, provocative message

What Participants Have to Say
About the New Voices Program:
"The New Voices program was an answer to prayer.
My author-partner Bruce Lipton and I met New Voices
editor Dawson Church a couple of months before we
were due to take Bruce's self-published book to press.
Bruce wrote a chapter for Healing Our Planet,
Healing Our Selves, and all of a sudden was published
with many leading-edge thinkers! We then went on to
publish Bruce's book The
Biology of Belief, in partnership with Dawson Church. It hit the Amazon.com Top 50 the week the book was released! This program is a guiding light, full of knowledge, experience and inspiration for both published and unpublished writers who have something vital to contribute to today's world. The New Voices program is the perfect vehicle through which to deliver a passionate message. We would to it all again in a heartbeat!"

"I first learned of the anthology Healing the Heart of the World after hearing a radio interview with Bruce Lipton, who praised Elite Books and Dawson Church. I contacted Dawson and was thrilled to learn that I had an opportunity to contribute a chapter to the anthology. Dawson and his staff were nothing less than inspiring to work with in the creation of my chapter “Nature as Teacher & Sage.” They are the “dream team” that every author hopes for. They provide excellent editorial advice, are always available for questions or feedback, and have a deep knowledge of this genre. Working with Elite Books also draws out the best in an author’s creativity.
Having the chapter presented in the book, side by side with many very well known authors, provided an amazing platform to present my work. The final hardcover book that was completed by Elite Books is also very beautifully laid out and the cover is eye-catching and groundbreaking.
My extraordinarily positive experience with Dawson and Elite Books spurred me on to write a full-length book, which is now being published through an imprint of Simon & Schuster Publishing.
I cannot speak more highly of Elite Books. If you are an experienced author or a new author thinking of having your work published do not let this opportunity pass you by."

"Being a "New Voice" really jump-started my writing. Once I completed a chapter, with the strong and inspired advice of the New Voices editors, I realized that I could, in fact, write well; it just takes the discipline to sit down at the computer and, as Nike so succinctly puts it, "just do it." It helped me attract a literary agent, and now a publisher for my manuscript. Thanks again for the impetus!"

author of Truth Heals
my New Voices chapter was published, I Googled my
name, and was pleasantly surprised by finding several
websites referencing my chapter. I felt that the coauthors
had not only collaborated in creating a beautiful
book, but were supporting one another in getting our
message out to the world."
- Tony Scheving, Ph.D.
"The opportunity to be published and distributed at a national level really lit a fire under the process of finding my voice. For the first time everand I've been at it for over a decadeI am happy with what I'm writing. It feels like I am saying what I am here to say, in a way that has the punch I want it to have. Thank you so much for thinking big, playing big, and inviting me to play with you."
